Julian has suffered three severe blows: His wife has walked out, his mother has died, and Alba, the six-year old daughter he adores, is displaying signs of emotional withdrawal and other problems. While clearing out his mother’s apartment he finds an old pistol. It has obviously belonged to his father who had died years before.
